In Sims 3 how do I get Flame fruit, Fruit of life and Death fish?
These are the ingredients for angel food cake and ambrosia which I wish to make however I can not seem to find them.
Flame Fruit and Fruit of Life are plantable and can only be obtained if you plant them yourself as a sim. They cannot be bought. You need to find the seeds for these plants in the wild nature. They’re scatered across the town. Some seeds are "common", some are "rare" and then there are "special" seeds <- These are the ones you need. When you find a seed of each of these categories, you won’t know what plant it will grow unitl the plant reaches it’s final stage of growth. Special seeds can grow either Money Trees, Fruits of Life, Death Plants or Flame Fruits.
Go to the lifetime rewards of your sim and purchase a Collection Helper. Tune it to broadcast the seeds on the map so you can find them more easily. Zoom in to the locations and hover your mouse over the seed to see if it’s "special". Take several seeds like this and plant them in your yard. One of them is bound to be a life fruit or a flame fruit. To plant special seeds you need a Gardening Skill of level 7.
The Deathfish is the most expensive and rarest fish of all. You need to be at least level 10 fisherman to catch it without a bait. To catch it with a bait your level can be lower. The fishing chain-reaction goes like so:
1) Use lure Cheese to catch an Alley Catfish (or simply buy one in the grocery store)
2) Use lure Alley Catfish to catch an Angelfish
3) Use lure Angelfish to catch a Deathfish.
Alley Catfish and Angelfish can be found in the lakes scatered across the countyside, assuming your playing Sunset Valley and not Riverview. Just inspect the fishing spots to find the right fish.
The Deathfish can only be found in the cemetery’s small lake, right behind the Grim Reaper’s statue between midnight and 03:00 AM. After you catch 10 of these Deathfish you can stock any pond with them anywhere, even in your home lot, so you won’t have to rely on the narrow 3-hour time window to obtain these lucrative fish.

you need good gardening skills to plant flame fruit and fruit of life. These come from seeds that have a special rarity that you can find around town.
This applies to life plant and death flower as well.
for deathfish, you need 10 fishing skill and just fish after midnight around the cemetary.
