How to make Smoked Turkey Wings / Pork Ribs on the Grill with Easy Baked Beans

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Get the Recipe – http://magiesplace.info/BLOG/?p=2518

My friend Jon at http://www.AuctionBump.com just got a grill! He had a few questions about cooking and smoking meat on the grill, what better way to show him than BBQ over the weekend and make a video.
Also I had planned to grill chicken and ribs, but when I saw the price of a whole chicken compared to the price of turkey wings, thought I would try it out. Glad I did, the wings have a lot of meat on them and delicious!

Meadows Mills Portable Christmas Tree Palletizer

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Meadows Mills, Inc is a 108 year old manufacturing company based in the foothills of North Carolina. Meadows Mills began humbly in 1902 when its first stone burr mill was manufactured. Since 1902 Meadows Mills has added many products to its line, including sifters and bolters, hammer mills, sawmills, and board/gang edgers. In 2006 Meadows Mills introduced its first product dedicated to the Christmas tree industry. This product was a large stationary Christmas tree palletizing unit. The large stationary Christmas tree palletizing unit was developed with guidance from Jim Heater with Silver Mountain Christmas Trees in Silver Mountain, OR. Meadows Mills did not rest on its laurels, though, in 2009 Meadows Mills announced an improved design for the Christmas tree palletizer. The improved design was a compact, portable Christmas tree palletizing unit. The portable unit was developed with guidance from Mike Severt with Severt Tree Farms in West Jefferson, NC. In 2010 Meadows Mills announced that the portable Christmas tree palletizing unit is also available in a stationary configuration.

The Meadows Portable/Stationary Christmas Tree Palletizers can be easily adjusted to palletize trees from 6 feet tall to 12 feet tall. For the portable configuration, the unit is equipped with a single axle. Prior to operating the unit, the axle is raised (and lowered) using a pair of 2 inch by 24 inch hydraulic cylinders. The tongue is available with either a drop-pin or pintle hitch and includes a jack. The tongue is easily removed for operation. The Stationary Christmas Tree Palletizers is constructed with the axle and tongue, but does include feet to make lifting the unit easier.

Both units are equipped with a 16-hp electric start gasoline engine. The self-contained hydraulic system features a direct-driven two-stage 25-GPM hydraulic pump with oil tank. Manual valves offer quick, decisive control of the unit. Two rolls of banding are mounted side-by-side on the top of the lid of the unit. The lid is raised and lowered using a pair of 2 inch by 24 inch hydraulic cylinders. On the tailgate, two manual all-in-one tools for tensioning, crimping, and cutting the steel banding are mounted. The tailgate is raised and lowered using a pair of 2 inch by 12 inch hydraulic cylinders. Compression is achieved by closing the tailgate, lowering the lid, and using the powerful ram. The ram is operated using a 4 inch by 8 feet hydraulic cylinder.

Begin operation of the unit by raising the axle (portable unit only) and lowering the jack on the tongue (portable unit only) so that the unit sits on the ground. Retract the compression ram, raise the lid, and lower the tailgate. Load your pallet along with six 2 inch by 4 inch boards that act as the sides/top of your pallet. Close the tailgate. Load your trees. Close the lid and enable the compression ram. Once the pallet is compressed, tighten and crimp the steel banding. Lower the tailgate and using the compression ram push the completed pallet from the unit.

With a cycle time of four minutes or less to produce one pallet this unit is perfect for growers, retailers, and wholesalers of all sizes. The Meadows Portable Christmas Tree Palletizer is affordably priced for $35,900.00 while the Stationary Christmas Tree Palletizer is available for $33,475.00. Delivery costs are not included. With many retailers now requiring vendors to provide trees on pallets how can you afford not to invest in this unit?

If you have questions about the Meadows Portable/Stationary Christmas Tree Palletizer please contact Meadows Mills, Inc by telephone at 1-800-626-2282 or 336-838-2282 or by email to meadowsmills@charter.net. It is our hope that you will consider the Meadows Portable/Stationary Christmas Tree Palletizer a tool vital to your business.

Shine #31

READ THIS IMPORTANT DESCRIPTION!!
Updated description – May 24th, 2009 @ 8:12 PM
—-Recorded with Adaptec GameBridge AVC 1400—-
(Sorry for the video game lag, these things always happen)

Q What should I be doing in this video?
A: Give the egg a Durian, (spiky fruit) from the fruit dispenser and kick it near the egg to hatch it into a Yoshi. Now spit juice at the fish swimming in the water to turn them into platforms. When you reach the highest pillar with the yellow goop, spit juice at it and get onto that pillar and ground pound the gate to get the shine sprite.

Q: How do I get Yoshi?
A: You must complete Pinna Park’s Episode 4 and there will be a cutscene in Delfino Plaza with Shadow Mario holding a Yoshi egg.

If you like the video, comment and rate it,
Id you don’t, please refrain from doing anything and click the back button on your internet browser. Negative comments will be rejected.

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the videos url in order to make these high quality. It will make it less grainy but the catch is that it won’t work with videos that were just uploaded. I give credit to PokeRemixStudio for that.

I recommend all viewers view these videos on my playlist so none of you will get confused, it’s easier for the both of us.

Harvest Moon: Magical Melody – Wild Animal

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Befriend wild animals by feeding them, or simply picking them up to cuddle when you see them roaming the village. The first animal that likes you enough to pay you a visit at your door will earn you the “Wild Note.” It should happen around 6 hearts of friendship with the animal.

-Animal: Locations/Times/Likes-
Rabbit: throughout / Spring-Fall / weed
Squirrel: throughout / Spring-Fall
Cat: throughout* / year-round / fish
(*near Junk Shop, Town Square, bridge to Callaway)
Monkey: Sunny Lake, mountains / year-round / berries
Sparrow: vertical bridge / Spring-Fall / feed, fruit
Cuckoo: Sunny Lake / Spring-Fall / feed, fruit
Duck: vertical bridge, pond / Spring-Summer / fish, fruit
Raccoon: Sunny Lake / Spring-Fall (night) / fish
Weasel: Sunny Lake / Winter (night) / fish

I advise against concentrating on the raccoon or the weasel. Those nocturnal suckers are really hard to get a hold of, and it takes forever to raise their hearts. Those two are the only wild animals that I refused to work on getting the full 10 hearts with.

Other wild animals not listed here are:
…the dolphin at the pier (which obviously will not visit you, but will take you to a small island if befriended with fish – see the video “Dolphin’s Island (of Happiness?)”)
…the mole (which you don’t want to befriend but rather whack with a tool when you see it – 10 hammerings and you get the “Mole-Whacking Note”)
…and the frog (which comes out sometimes in the rain, but does not appear on your heart level list and thus cannot be befriended).

So, aw, Robyn’s first visit was a sweet little bunny. x3 (This just happened to happen while we were just trying to waste time until Robyn’s baby birth.) I didn’t film all of these wild animal visits – just the first – so I’m glad her first was a cutie! Others (like the monkey) are kinda creepy up close. o_o
